Westley is a small unincorporated community located in Stanislaus County, California, United States. It is situated near the intersection of Interstate 5 and State Route 33, approximately 30 miles south of Stockton and 40 miles north of Modesto.
The town was named after Cornelius W. Westley, who owned a large ranch in the area in the late 1800s. It started as a stop for the railroad and has since become a hub for travelers on the interstate.
Westley is primarily an agricultural town, with crops such as almonds, walnuts, and pistachios grown in the surrounding area. The town has a small shopping center with a gas station, convenience store, and a few fast food options.
